"Oh my God Dad - that was an amazing piece. It was so beautifully
written and even though I smiled all the way through, I have
tears in my eyes...
Can't believe we all grew up having a Super Cop for a Super
Dad. We're all SO proud of you and everything you have achieved.
Hope we can make you even HALF as proud some day!
…..love you loads and know how much this weekend will
mean to you - as a culmination of a HUGE part of your life.
I don't think they will ever let you go completely. But they
better make the biggest fuss out of you!!! Wish we were there
to celebrate your 35yrs as well.
…..Take care! …Sonal"

A long and proud innings, indeed. I am one of those few "guys"
who among many you would have just met when you came to Delhi
in the early 70's .Then our working careers and paths took us
away for brief moments of time only to eventually land up as
Neighbours in Gurgaon!
Welcome to this Haryanvi location..and let us stay in touch
more avidly!
Good luck and Even more Good Health is my wish so that you can
reflect with joy and satisfaction over the glorious acheivements.
Warm regards, Vijay

Dear Maxwell, Fond, happy and sad memories I am sure, as your
police career draws to a close ..... I wish you all the best
in your so-called retirement, though no doubt you will keep
yourself very busy.
I am currently in Bangkok enjoying the hot, dusty and humid
weather running a training course here and will be back in Singapore
this weekend, spending a week with Lee before she flies off
to the US.
With kind regards, Phil"

Oh gosh, really? What are you going to do now, Mr. Pereira?
Let me guess, not that I am a policeman . . .:-
1) You would soon discover who your friends are?
2) Some amount of rural ambience in coastal areas of Karnataka,
or Western Ghats, or both?
3) Travel as well as writing?
4) Quality time with family? *You don't strike me as grandpa
material as yet . . .* ….
5) All, some, more . . . Whatever, it would be an honour if
you kept me on your mailing list.
I commute Pune - Delhi lately (last 5 years actually) and am
best on 020-35566000 as well as 011-24644012. .I wonder if you
will have the time to write for us at http://www.chowk.com.?
All the best Mr. Pereira, and good luck.
